Original Shop
All Original Surfboards are British made - designed in Cornwall and made in Devon.
Each board is individually handcrafted from plywood and hot steamed in a traditional surf board press before the top end of the board is shaped to create its own unique curve or rocker. The boards are then either yacht varnished by hand or given a professional spray painted finish.
We now also have unvarnished Original Surfboards for those who prefer the traditional plain ply or want to paint their own.
Our original logo and designs are applied in waterproof boat vinyl to give them that twenty first century twist. We also produce personalised and corporate boards to order.

DELIVERY COSTS
Boards are packed in made to measure cardboard boxes. We can send up to four boards to the same address within the UK for £10 on a one to two business day service. We also ship overseas. Please contact us for a quote.
FREE LOCAL DELIVERY/COLLECTION
If you live in the Exeter area you can save delivery costs by collecting your board from our local farm shop - Exe Valley Farm shop EX5 5LZ, near Thorverton - just off the A396 Exeter to Tiverton road. Please contact us for more details.
MEASUREMENTS
The boards are the classic size and shape - four feet high by one foot wide (1210mm by 310mm) and 3/8 inch (9ml) thick with the shape traditionally tapered to a slightly thinner 11.5 inches (290mm) at the base of the board. Each board is individually hand cut and shaped so measurements may vary fractionally.
Our 'standard' size is suitable for most adults and children from about 11 years old. For children under 11 we recommend our "mini" boards. They are the same width and depth as the classic sized boards but measure approximately 38 inches (97cms) tall.
We can also produce mini boards in made to measure lengths.

HERITAGE BOARDS
Just like they made them in the 1950s. Every board has its own unique wood grain pattern. Heritage boards are available in hand painted yacht varnish finish or unvarnished so you can paint your own or surf on the classic plain ply.
