ORIGINAL CHAMPIONSHIP BOARDS
Hand made in Britain from five veneers of premium grade hardwoods. Our racing stripe boards are significantly lighter and thinner than the classic steam bent ply boards - this gives them a little more flex in the surf.
Unlike the steam bent boards that are made from manufactured sheets of ply our championship boards are individually laminated from sheets of veneer and then vacuum pressed on a bespoke press. The boards are then hot branded with our logo and Made in Britain stamp before being coated with a satin polyurethane finish to provide UV protection and waterproofing.

ORIGINAL CREST RIDER BOARDS
This is the perfect "one size fits all" board (well for almost all adults!) A board that can be used by pro surfers that is also the best board for the complete novice to learn on as it has more buoyancy than the championship or heritage boards but is still super light.

Hand made in Britain these boards are made from a wood called Gaboon wood which is " sufficiently light yet durable and at the same time waterproof". Like our championship boards the crest rider boards are individually laminated from sheets of veneer and then vacuum pressed on a bespoke press.

CLASSIC BRITISH PLY BELLYBOARDS
All the boards shown below are hand crafted in Britain from Birch plywood. Individually cut and then steam bent in the traditional way to give each board its own unique curve or nose rocker. Just like they made them in the 1950s for the beach shops along the Atlantic Coasts.
Our boards are then either yacht varnished by hand or given a professional spray painted finish. Our original Surfboard logo and designs are applied in the highest grade boat vinyl.

DELIVERY TIMES
We can usually dispatch our ready to surf boards within 24 hours . For UK deliveries we use Parcelforce next business day service. We can arrange Saturday and Express am services but it does cost more. Overseas orders usually take 3-5 working days depending on the destination.
Our bespoke board service usually takes one to three weeks, but we have been known to arrange super urgent orders within a few days. Please call us and we will always do our best to meet that critical deadline.
MEASUREMENTS
All our boards are the classic 1950s British belly board size and shape - four feet high by one foot wide (1210mm by 310mm) with the board traditionally tapering to a slightly thinner 11.5 inches (290mm) at the base of the board with a gentle nose rocker at the top of the board.
This size is suitable for most adults and children from about 11 years old

WEIGHT
Our championship and crest rider boards are lighter weight than the birch ply bellyboards - please see below for details.
ORIGINAL CHAMPIONSHIP BOARDS
Made with five layers of hard wood (7mm) which makes them 2mm thinner than the crest rider and traditional plywood bellyboards these boards are designed to have a little more flex in the surf. Approximately 500g lighter than the birch ply boards
ORIGINAL CREST RIDER BOARDS
An all gaboon board made from seven layers of laminated veneer - a design based on the premium grade board of the 1950s. Appproximately 300g lighter than the birch ply boards
BIRCH PLY BELLYBOARDS
Our heritage boards are the same height and width as the championship and crest rider boards but are 9mm thick.
Please note measurements may vary fractionally as each board is individually hand cut and shaped.
